Molecular Sieve type 4A (Angstrom) is an alkali alumino silicate, obtained through synthesis of type A zeolite in sodic form. It is the sodium form of the Type A crystal structure. 4A molecular sieve has an effective pore opening of about 4 angstroms (0.4nm). Galaxychem type 4A molecular sieve will adsorb most molecules with a kinetic diameter of less than 4 angstroms and exclude those larger.

4A is widely used to dry gas and liquid, such as cracked gas, natural gas, refrigent, liquid gas, naphtha, kerosene, diesel oil and transformer oil, etc. It can be also employed to extract, purify argon and desulphurization. It will adsorb, in sequence of adsorption rate, argon, krypton, xenon, ammonia, carbon monoxide, C2H4, C2H2, CH3OH, C2H5OH, CH3CN2, CS2, CH3CL, CH3Br, and carbon dioxide.

APPLICATION FIELD:
1. Deep drying of air, natural gas, alkane and refrigerant.
2. Generation and purification of argon.
3. Static dehydration of electronic element, pharmaceutical and unstable materials.
4. Desiccant of paint, PU Plastic, dope and fuel etc.
5. Also adsorb H2O, NH3, CO, CO2, SO2, H2S, CH3OH, C2H5OH, C2H4,
C2H2, C3H6, CH3CN2, CS2, CH3CL, CH3Br, and carbon dioxide. etc.

TECHNIQUE SPECIFICATION:
1.6-2.5 sphere, 3-5mm sphere, 5-8mm sphere, and 1.6mm cylinder, 3.2mm cylinder is available in stock.

STORAGE:
It should be stored at room temperature, in which the relative humidity is not exceed 90%, and be not exposed in air, and prevented against water, acids and alkalies.

REGENERATION:
Molecular sieve can be regenerated for re-use by purging or evacuating at elevated temperatures. The degree of regeneration (adsorbed substances removal) is dependent on the temperature and humidity of the purge gas. In practice, blowing the molecular sieve by dry purge gas at an inlet temperature of 200degrees centigrade-350 degrees centigrade and a pressure of 0.3 - 0.5 kg per square centimetre, heat the molecular sieve bed. As the temperature in outlet reaches 150 - 180degrees centigrade, let the bed cool off.
